  • Id Al Fitr is the Moslem Breakfast Day at the very end of the Ramadan;

  • The birthday of the Prophet (Id al Milad a Nabi).
National peculiarities:
Women wear loose clothes, men are greeted with a slight bow, without handshaking. It is not allowed to walk arm-in-arm with married women. It is strictly recommended not to offer alcoholic drinks to local people, even in the form of presents or souvenirs.

You must not walk in front of praying people.
You must not eat, drink, smoke or chew gums outdoors or in public places before the sunset during the Ramadan because it is the Moslem fast month and disrespectful behavior can result in a fine or even imprisonment.

The climate is dry and subtropical. On average, there are only 5 rainy days per year. A period from October till May is the best time to travel to the UAE because the temperature fluctuates between 18 and 30 degrees Celsius. Slight rains are possible during this period with a peak in February. In summer, the temperature may reach 50 degrees Celsius at a high humidity.

The currency:
Dirham = 100 filses. There are the following coins: 5 and 1 dirham and 50 and 25 filses; and banknotes 5, 10, 50, 100, 200 and 500 dirhams. US dollars are accepted everywhere, however, it is a bit more beneficial to pay with the dirham.

Visa restrictions:
A visa may not be issued to a woman under 30 years old travelling without her husband or father.

The United Arab Emirates are located on the south-east of the Arab Peninsula and border with Quatar, the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Normally, there are no age-related restrictions. However, the UAE Government may sometimes impose restrictions for young lonely women. But a woman under 30 will have a visa issued without problems if she is travelling with her husband or father having the same last name. The problem can also be solved by booking and paying for a room in a 5-star hotel. The rejection risk will be much lower in that case.

Одежда женщин должна быть просторной, мужчин приветствуют легким поклоном, не подавая руки. Замужних женщин нельзя брать под руку. Категорически не рекомендуется предлагать местным жителям спиртные напитки как подарки или сувениры.

Нельзя проходить перед молящимися.
В Рамадан никогда не ешьте, не пейте, не курите, не жуйте жевательную резинку на улицах и в общественных местах до захода солнца. Рамадан - месяц мусульманского поста, и неуважение к традициям может привести к штрафу и даже к тюремному заключению.

Климат: Сухой субтропический климат. Среднегодовое количество дождливых дней - 5. Самое благоприятное время для поездки в ОАЭ - период с октября по май, когда температура колеблется в пределах от 18 С до 30 C. В этот период (особенно в феврале) возможны небольшие дожди. Летом температура достигает 50 С, высокая влажность.

Валюта:
Дирхам, равен 100 филсам. В обращении находятся монеты достоинством 5 и 1 дирхам, 50 и 25 филсов; банкноты в 5, 10, 50, 100, 200 и 500 дирхам. Американские доллары повсеместно принимаются к оплате, однако платить дирхамами несколько выгоднее.

Для женщин, не достигших тридцатилетнего возраста и путешествующих без сопровождения мужа или отца, возможен отказ в предоставлении въездной визы.

В эмиратах нет возрастных ограничений на открытие виз. Тем не менее, власти ОАЭ время от времени действительно ограничивают выдачу виз одиноким молодым женщинам. Однако женщине до 30 лет без проблем открывают визу, если она летит с мужем или отцом - однофамильцами. Также проблему можно решить, бронируя и оплачивая пятизвездочный отель - в этом случае вероятность получить отказ гораздо ниже.

Des particularités nationales:
Les femmes portent des vêtements amples, les hommes sont accueillis avec une légère inclination, sans poignées de main. Il n'est pas permis de marcher bras dessus, bras dessous avec les femmes mariées. Il est formellement recommandé de ne pas offrir des boissons alcoolisées aux populations locales, même sous la forme de cadeaux ou de souvenirs.

Vous ne devez pas marcher devant des personnes qui prient.
Vous ne devez pas manger, boire, fumer ou mâcher des chewing-gums à l'extérieur ou dans des lieux publics avant le coucher du soleil pendant le Ramadan parce qu'il est le mois de jeûne musulman et le comportement irrespectueux peut entraîner une amende ou même l'emprisonnement.

Le climat est sec et subtropicale. En moyenne, il y a seulement 5 jours de pluie par an. La période d’Octobre à Mai est le meilleur moment pour voyager vers les Emirats arabes unis, car la température oscille entre 18 et 30 degrés Celsius. De légères pluies sont possibles durant cette période avec un pic en Février. En été, la température peut atteindre 50 degrés Celsius avec une humidité élevée.

    Les Émirats arabes unis sont situés au sud-est de la péninsule arabe et à la frontière avec le Qatar, le Sultanat d'Oman et le Royaume d'Arabie saoudite.

    Normalement, il n'y a pas de restrictions liées à l'âge. Toutefois, le gouvernement des EAU peut parfois imposer des restrictions pour les jeunes femmes solitaires. Mais une femme de moins de 30 ans se verra délivrer un visa sans problème si elle se rend avec son mari ou son père ayant le même nom de famille. Le problème peut également être résolu en réservant et en payant pour une chambre dans un hôtel. Le risque de rejet sera alors beaucoup plus faible dans ce cas.
